Eventful, Inc. is the leading online service for discovering, sharing, promoting and creating local events throughout the world.

We are currently seeking a Senior Product Manager who brings an innovative, creative and disciplined approach to revenue focused products.

Responsibilities:

This position within the Product Management team will specifically focus on and own a set of products relating to e-commerce and revenue-generating features and functionality.

  • Work closely as a member of the product team to define, build, measure, manage and drive continuous improvement for key products to achieve specific revenue goals.
  • Ownership of several key features and functionalities relating to e-commerce and revenue-generating features and functionality.
  • Manage products through complete product lifecycle from initial requirements gathering through ongoing enhancements
  • Multi-platform product opportunities including inline, email, widgets, apps and mobile channels.
  • Develop and execute comprehensive product marketing plans
  • Work with other key stakeholders to develop revenue targets, KPI's and dashboards.
  • Work with cross functional team of business development, design, engineering and marketing to define and execute product's business, user experience and technical requirements
  • Devise ongoing product improvements based on metrics, customer feedback, competitive analysis, and market research. Optimize products to achieve target revenue objectives.
  • Make trade-off decisions between functionality, resources and timeframes as needed
  • Maintain intimate knowledge of fast-changing competitive landscape

Qualifications:

  • 8+ years product management experience
  • Proven track record of developing and deploying successful web-based, revenue focused, e-commerce products in an industry leading company.
  • Strategic thinker with the ability to develop long-term product roadmaps
  • Robust analytical skills in Web usage metrics
  • Strong understanding of how to develop a successful web business, including customer acquisition, SEO, SEM, Web 2.0 community features, web development, merchandising, web advertising, web marketing, subscription services, etc.
  • Exceptional organizational and multi-tasking skills, with the ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously under tight deadlines
  • Ability to asses risk, manage conflict, and demonstrate good business judgment
  • Bachelor degree required; MBA is a plus
